a few weeks ago, we put a call out on our facebook page- we were feeling pooped and hot and uncreative and out of ideas and needing some inspiration! sometimes, it is hard to keep coming up with things to do- especially when we are already battling lots of other “limitations”- our size, our equipment, the heat, etc.
our great friend from what’s for dinner? who is now lucky enough to live in seattle sent us this idea- a watermelon salad!
this salad is so genius! and it is exactly the right time for watermelon. all you do is cut the watermelon, toss it with feta crumbles, some red onion. we minced up some jalapeno and mint and tossed that in too. the bites are fresh and salty and sweet! take it to a picnic! everyone will love you! we love dave sheely!
